We have had a very busy year in and out of the pool so I thought it would be a fun idea to list all the successes we have had, both as teams and individuals... With all that is going on it very easy to lose track and forget...
Congratulations to the Waterpolo team
First Victory !
A great team performance by the squad on Saturday resulted in a 23-5 win over Stretford who were outplayed in all aspects of the game. To win so emphatically at the same age level against such a well established club without two of our most experienced players is a considerable achievement so well done to all.
GB Waterpolo Development Squad
Congratulations to Katy Andrew and Megan Gaunt for being asked to join the GB Development squad for the u16's, further congratulations to you both as you are now ASA Waterpolo National Champions after competing for City of Manchester in the ASA Acadamy Finals both walk away with a Gold Medal, we wish the all the best for their future successes

Connor Derry entered 15 events and swam a PB in 14 winning gold in the 100m Breaststroke and placing in six other events.... Well done.

He swam six Personal Bests(PBs) and in his first competition as an 11 year old he placed 18/44

Congratulations to George Morreal
George entered five events in the Central Lancashire Championships. He collected four medals and achieved four personal best times.
Gold in 100m Backstroke 1.01.06minutes
Gold in 100m Freestyle 56.21seconds a personal best
Silver in 100m Butterfly 1.02.84minutes a personal best
Silver in 200m Individual Medley 2.19.80minutes a personal best
Fourth in 50m Freestyle 26.52seconds a personal best
To the dismay of his mum, Eva Morreal, he collected two silver trophies bringing the number of trophies to 10 that Eva now has to polish...!

ASA Inter-regional Waterpolo Championships
Well done to both Katy Andrew and Megan Gaunt for their involvement with the ASA Inter-regional Championship that took place at the Gala Bath's in Walsal over the weekend. Eight teams from around the United Kingdom took part, bringing together the best players born 1996/1997 unfortunately it was a very close final match with both Megan and Katy on apposing teams, in the end Northwest "B" beat Northwest "A" 9-8, both girls played brilliantly throughout the two day tournament, well done to you both.

Second Victory !!
Another great team performance, the squad of seven beat Royton u14's in a very close match 10-8 well played to everyone especially as we had no substitutes for the match, again well done and congratulations to everyone who took part and helped.

Connor won gold swimming a two second PB at the Stockport Metro mini meet grand prix finals 25th June in the boys breaststroke event.

Alex finished in the top eight for his age group at the Stockport Metro mini meet, a brilliant acheivement for his first mini meet series and also being one of the youngest swimmers there! Well done.
Stockport Mini Meet results
We had 14 swimmers competing in both the u9's and 10 and over age groups, and we managed a huge 24 Pb's between them u9's we had swimming 25mtr free ,25 fly and a 100IM. 10+over 50 free, 50 fly 200 IM for the boys and 200 Free for the girls. Well done to all the kids involved for some it was their first swim meet, you should all be very proud of yourselves... See you on the 17.12.11 for round 2...
